Tuesday Kids Art Classes | 5 -8 years
A welcoming and playful art class designed for children aged 5 to 8. These 45-minute sessions focus on building confidence, creativity, and individual expression through hands-on making.
Each week, children explore different materials and techniques in a relaxed environment where there is no “right” or “wrong” outcome. The emphasis is on fun, exploration, and imagination, while gently developing creative skills.
Through guided activities and open-ended tasks, children learn to trust their ideas, express themselves visually, and gain confidence in their creative abilities.
All materials are provided.

About the tutor
Rebecca Austin is a local artist with a Bachelor of Fine Art from Griffith University, where she majored in printmaking and drawing.
Alongside her art practice, Rebecca works as an early childhood educator and brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to teaching. She is passionate about helping both children and adults develop creative skills and confidence.
Rebecca believes that everyone can be creative and encourages each student to reconnect with their sense of play and curiosity through art.
