The navy and cream ikat pattern of this handmade bear comes from vintage Japanese kasuri cotton woven on traditional hand looms in the 1940s, shifting slightly across the body in the way particular to hand weaving. The sashiko scarf is embroidered with white geometric motifs and finished with white fringed ends.
