Following the Opening of her solo exhibition at our Gallery, Watercolour Master Violetta Kurbanova will offer a workshop with one of the most popular and challenging techniques - pigment granulation.

Join us for an immersive, step-by-step watercolour workshop and learn how to paint this breathtaking, atmospheric mountain landscape.


In this session, you will master the art of painting glowing sunsets, soft valley mist, and complex, textured rock formations using advanced watercolour techniques.


What You Will Learn:


How to paint a seamless, glowing gradient sky.

The secret to creating soft, realistic valley mist using wet-on-wet techniques.

How to utilise Daniel Smith's granulating paints to create complex rock textures effortlessly.

To get the most out of this workshop and achieve these exact rich textures, we will be using granulating  Daniel Smith Watercolours and Winsor & Newton Granulation Medium.

Extra Magic Tools:

  • Small containers to mix granulating colours / must
  •  A spray bottle (mister) to create a foggy atmosphere. / must

 100% Cotton Watercolour Paper (Cold Press 300gsm / 140lb).
