This 7-week course will introduce you to Colour theory and basic applications in acrylic painting. The course will also emphasise the importance of Tone in painting.


The duration of each lesson is 2.5 hours.


When: Thursdays from 23 April (7 weeks)

Time: 11:00am – 1:30pm

The course will cover:

  • tonal chart
  • understanding of warm and cool colours
  • tonal-based composition
  • primary and secondary colours and colour mixing
  • monochrome painting
  • complimentary colours


The lessons are based on a still-life setting as the best observational learning method.


The price includes all basic materials. You may bring your own brushes after consultation with the teacher.
