Domesticidad
Monique Baques
Domesticidad is a solo exhibition by Brisbane-based artist Monique Baqués, exploring home, belonging, identity and the relationship between domestic space and the female body. Through painting, collage and mixed media, Baqués reflects on the ways home can offer comfort and protection while also carrying memory, responsibility, sacrifice and constraint.

The Great Boat Approaches
Deborah Norrie-Jones
The Great Boat Approaches brings together poetry, archival works and recent paintings by Meanjin/Brisbane-based artist Deborah Norrie-Jones. Reflecting on her husband’s terminal illness, their travels, return home and life after his death, the exhibition explores love, grief, memory and mortality through gestural drawings, watercolours, oils and abstract figurative paintings.
