About the event
Working through a simple sunset landscape, you will explore underpainting, layering and colour transitions, and learn how foreground, middle ground and background work together to create a sense of distance. The workshop also looks at how changes in colour, value and detail can make a landscape feel more spacious and convincing.
Suitable for beginners and anyone interested in developing their landscape painting skills.
All materials are provided.
About the tutor
Libby Protsan is a Brisbane-based visual artist with a strong technical foundation and a particular interest in colour, nature and expressive painting. Alongside her studio practice, she facilitates art programs across Brisbane, Ipswich and Springfield.
