Learn how to create the texture and character of animal fur using acrylic paint.

Time & Location
29 Oct 2026, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm AEST
Creative Room Art Space, 15 Dornoch Terrace, West End QLD 4101, Australia
About the event
You’ll explore dry brush, layering and freehand strokes, looking at how direction, colour and tone can suggest different types of fur. The focus is on building form and texture rather than trying to paint every individual hair.
Bring a clear photo of your own cat or dog to work from during the workshop. Choose a photo where your pet’s face and fur are clearly visible.
Suitable for beginners. All materials are provided.
