Poetry Afternoon with Deborah Norrie-Jones

Deborah is a visual artist, published poet and arts therapist whose practice moves between image, memory and language. During the afternoon, she will read a selection of her poems and join Svetlana Prokhorova, artist, director and owner of Creative Room Art Space, in conversation about the connections between poetry, visual art, grief, memory and lived experience.

The conversation will also explore the ideas behind The Great Boat Approaches, a deeply personal exhibition shaped by Deborah’s journey through her husband’s terminal illness, their travels together, and life after loss.

This will be an informal and reflective afternoon, offering a chance to hear Deborah’s work in her own voice and learn more about the stories and experiences behind the exhibition.

Free entry. Registration recommended.
