About the event
You’ll look at facial proportions and structure, then explore how light and tonal relationships help create form. The workshop also introduces different ways of handling acrylic paint, including soft and hard edges, sfumato, dry brush and palette knife techniques.
Suitable for beginners and those wanting to explore portrait painting in acrylics.
All materials are provided.
About the tutor
Libby Protsan is a Brisbane-based visual artist with a strong technical foundation and a particular interest in colour, nature and expressive painting. Alongside her studio practice, she facilitates art programs across Brisbane, Ipswich and Springfield.
