This painting was created in 2023, during a time when my home country was caught up in events that made it hard to avoid the news - news I usually try to steer clear of. Despite my deep love for the world and life itself, the behaviour of people can be truly painful to witness. Through this artwork, I wanted to express those mixed feelings: love, hurt, and the struggle to find hope amid chaos. It’s a reflection of my thoughts and emotions during a challenging time, reminding us all of the complexity of our shared human experience.
